Owner; Kenneth Hiroaka and I strike a pose in front of wall.
NEW HAWAIIANA MURAL GOING UP THIS MONTH!!! sketches are underway of King Kamehameha, battle scenes, warriors, ancient tools, coat of arms, and more.

Mural is approximately 11'x40' (wall behind me in pic) for a new workshop studio in Wailuku, Maui. So excited to paint all the kings and those buff warriors ayayay...Btw, if you're interested in these ancient Hawaiian tools & accessories, or workshops & instruction---call Mr. Hiroaka to make appointment or get location address; 1 (808) 280-3518

Its definitely going to be a crunch because Im also entering exhibition this month. But so far the driftwood I'm working with has been forgiving and the sculpting has been fairly simple...its the wall i'm concerned about. Gotta decide what type of foam to use or what walls will be made of at exhibit before I can know for sure its going to attach. And then still not sure if i should hang pitted surfer or attach permanently to base. And once i can figure that out, it'll be time to send in proposal for approval. Keep your fingers crossed, so hoping my piece gets a spot 😀

See you on the other side,

~M.
