Really trying hard for miracles...like attending the Roskilde Festival...would be cool to surround myself with art and music for 8 days straight...what could be better? How about painting murals at the campsite that show the essence of Maui No Ka Oi! (((:

I have a dream!!! That one day there will be a mural arts facility/gallery/retail somewhere on Maui! We have so many plans once we have a solid location to work from. Once we sign, we launch our art mag created for artists by artists. We are calling it 'The Art Bar Comics' because their will be little doodles from our featured artist, and other creative individuals, straight from their minds to bring humor to whats happening in our country...gawd, do we need a laugh or what?? So much sadness and anger is surfacing among political leaders and government...seems like all we can do sometimes is wait patiently for the storm. Our first issue we plan to dedicate to the women like Share Christie, who's in prison with other women right now for lengthy sentences...all because they grew a plant that heals nations. And our president is literally engulfed in materialism so much, people are suffering, it's like some kinda scary horror film...invasion of the red tie and bleach...ayyyy...I thought it would be better to say what we feel as artists through art and comedy. I'm sending our first issue to Share since it's based on her stories she's been writing from prison. She, like those other women, are an inspiration to stand up and be strong in mind, body, and spirit. Can't wait to hear of her reaction to my first strip; 'The Herb Lady' hehe... hope she will dig it...or maybe she will send requests for more issues! (:

Oh...been working on this...adding more stars and finishing the hands and feet tomorrow...still much to do...but wanted to post what I've been working on...need to submit before March 20th...will be back to show finished piece! See you on the other side,  ~M.
