ART, RALLY, AND ONE AMBUSH 

One word to describe yesterday---WOW! And here I thought I was attending a peaceful and safe rally...until I was ambushed by a dude with a mission! I'm completely on fire right now...or more like fueled and ready to go. A Monsanto follower got me good yesterday...I was completely taken back by his "facts" he was spitting at me left and right! I really need to step up my game...its not a peaceful movement for me anymore...its a desperate plea for kokua (help)...and not later, now.

You're probably wondering what happened, so here's the scene;

I showed up at rally yesterday, and I gotta say, it was totally nice to pull up and park right where I could stand! Location was awesome too...on main intersection of Maui. And police were super friendly, one even suggested how I could make my sign easier to hold! And then it happened.

I see a friendly person, he smiles, I smile, and I see a mic in his hand. He approaches me with some rather easy questions at first. A bit nervous, ok allot nervous, to the point of stuttering....I thought, "ok maybe one question won't hurt" boy, was I wrong! After realizing I wasn't comfortable on camera, he gave it to me good with harder and harder questions, spitting "facts" out like an encyclopedia! Asking me about reports made by the National Academy of Science and the 2,ooo tests blah blah blah...label my food and shut the hell up.

I was shocked, and tried to lean away, but the mic was consistently pushed in my face /: I couldn't get away if I tried...he was going to squash me and nobody was around to kokua me so I failed my first interview heavily. Notice I 'said' first, because I want a rematch! lol!

I want a fair fight, not one-sided with prepared facts ready. Let me have the same time to rehearse my answers and questions, and produce an educated response instead of one filled with nervousness and shock. I wish I had the camera equipment to go out and conduct my own interviews...or at least reply online to every video this dude is posting to make people appear like "idiots." His phrase he used to describe people of the Shaka Movement on Maui. He calls it a "haole" movement. I would've respected his opinion had he of left that racial slur out. But he says its not, I disagree. And his character seems to be one that passes judgement in the most insulting manner. Laughing at passionate people, literally sneaking up behind them, especially ones that are obviously there to simply hold a sign to show support. You sir, are nothing but an educated bully. 

In fact, I pretty much disagree with everything he and his Monsanto crew are trying to literally make us consume. Like Monsanto, being sneaky is the only way NON GMO supporters will listen to such rubbish. Walking around with video cameras sticking a mic in someones face is not as beneficial to any movement as much as black and white facts. Why not more documentaries to prove your statements true? Wheres integrity? credibility? Well, heres another example; 

After rally, after I felt invaded, I went online to his facebook and added him as a friend. I asked him to remove any footage of me and not to post my face anywhere to ensure privacy. He "granted" me this gift. He said, and I quote, errr wait...I just clicked over to FB to copy and paste...and wow, all the message has disappeared...hmm..odd (don't worry, alllll copied to my camera heehee). Well, he said I "gave up (my) rights to privacy by standing on the highway waiving a sign." He said I should "be prepared to answer" why I'm there if I want to be there. He said it was ME who needs HIS permission to use the video footage. He laughed at me. The harsh reality is hes absolutely right. So ok video dude, I am giving up my right to privacy on these issues. I must. Its the only way the message will continue to be heard until congress wakes the &%$# up. 

Man, it's bad out there folks. A man can now approach a woman in this world, stick a mic in her face, and take away her right to privacy in an instant....all because she wants the right to choose what she eats. WOW. And last month, a photographer took some pics of me without my knowledge or permission, I was so upset, felt invaded and treated like I didn't matter. When I asked him several times to let me have copies at least...he said it was his "job" and he couldn't just give them to me to use for whatever I wanted, it was "his work" he said. Not more than a day later, he too posted a pic of me online! Didn't show my face, just my hair, or I would probably be a whole lot more pissed right now and I'd be blasting his name all over the net until he did whats right. Sad part is this is someone I would've let take many pictures of me...but his approach, like this journalist, was invasive and disrespectful. That's what this world is coming to? Hidden cameras and mics at every direction. What will happen when we build a microcamera? that can be injected into our foods, what then??? Well, ok then, let the games begin assholes. Eye for an eye baby! 

I am so glad for this blog right now...and given enough time, I too will be out there conducting my own interviews right along side these Monsanto chachies. Did you know Akaku is a community channel? I challenged video dude to a debate on live TV...and so far no response and now hes unfriended me *sniff*. If video dude walks up to you, PLEASE PLEASE MENTION THE AKAKU DEBATE WITH 'THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!' I want to have the chance to answer and question too. 

So, I guess I should expect to see myself looking like a fool on youtube soon...oh well, at least it's alongside my community and other gmo free supporters...man, we literally are all in this together...that is comforting to know others support my efforts here on Maui and mainland too. I assure you "citizen journalist" you called yourself, I am not going anywhere, and Mahalo for helping me realize I need to step up my research, gather my facts, and bring my paperwork in hand to the next rally. Now I have fuel for my fiya!

The pic below video dude posted after he "granted" the privacy. I encourage NON GMO supporters to keep a lookout for this choad while you rally. And if you do watch his videos---which is exactly what he wants!! Please remember not to leave without posting so he knows his fame is the wrong kind. I won't mention his name, I don't want to give him what he wants. Fame, recognition, control, power, success in place of humanity...he gets a cockroach wrapped in duct tape this year for xmas hehe.

"I'm not sure we should be friends anymore." Duh! Really? Lol! Anyway, let's put their so called facts to rest and squash'm back as peaceful warriors.
