RALLY IS TODAY MAUIANS, 
ARE YOU READY TO ROAR?

...from our little island all the way to the US Supreme Courts...again and again if we have to?? Yep, me too hehe...scrooge the monsanto plans, we spoke, we voted, we said "LABEL IT," now it's time to be pono Monsanto!! 

We may be a tiny island, but we are a passionate one, filled with people who respect the aina and keiki we raise on it. I know one thing is for sure, Maui's organic farming communities, health educators, local mothers (rarrrr...including me!!), organic gardeners, and many others educated on Monsantos plans, won't stop until we have justice. And I have a strong feeling we haven't seen nothing yet, there is a much bigger plan. Monsanto IS the experiment. 

This is why its extremely crucial we do every bit of what is possible to stop Monsanto. The damage has started, it's not fixable either, and...we will have to learn to live with it??....well, I'm tired of that choice. I want my life back, my first choice. I want the right to choose what I want to eat and the diet I want to live by. 

Hmmm...I wonder...if they are making chemicals for profit...why not make chemicals for other things? Fatten the turkey for selling...prep the human for cloning? Insert pop up timer...insert ID tag...or worse, mind altering chemical? Frick, gives me shivers just thinking about it!

Nah, I'm over this government narcissism, I can grow my own shith, catch my own food, make my own electric, catch my own water, and be completely sustainable....why can't you leave me alone? The environment should come first, not profits. 

I'd be stoked to see a country celebrate our "new" freedom, the kind where there's less worry and more hope for a better future. Imagine a holiday or a month or a year of government assisted sustainable living...ready? Well, if we begin now, maybe...but if we wait until there is no other choice, the government may have a different plan that will force people to live by politicians standard. It won't be good....it never is. 

Well, had to rush, but I finished my sign...I'm torn between "hell yeah we are not giving up!" and "hmm, not a peaceful message."  I don't want the message to be a physical one...but yes, we will continue to "fight" legally, peacefully, without violence. We are a peaceful island, but we are pissed off and angry right now because government patted us on the head and did what they wanted to anyway. No, no, no...you are wrong, so we will keep saying it until you do right. I won't ever give up I won't ever stop protecting my faith, my children, my community, & myself.

Life matters...for God sake, Monsanto is killing us...it's time to act people...RISE UP.
