ok..it's on...SERVIN' UP CREATIVITY------@THE ART BAR...Tomorrow I'm dedicating some time down at Akaku prepping for manini promos...was told our nonprofit is allowed 5min increments of air time as much as we'd like...I'm excited to start promoting arts & music and all these creative things happening on Maui...most of my Maui ohana are so hardworking and I'm talking sweat hard 8-10hrs per day...well get ready to party live and show local television what arts & music can do for communities...I'm just one potato...doing plenty that I gotta wrap up all together in 30min...everything; HMA meetings, discuss HC&S abandoned wall, upcoming art exhibitions, fundraising

I have a few amigos helping with the video editing but just enough to show me /:  which means we can air once a month or once a week depending on how quickly I can learn.

If you art or music daily, holla, we want you to do your thang for the local peep show...free show...late show. And FYI, I'm not "hosting" anything or holding a mic stuff...just using the free rental space to conduct some interesting HMA members only meetings and promote this islands best!! Maui No Ka Oi!!! Bring on the live chefs preparing meals for our members, stilt walkers, comedians, political leaders not afraid to stand up and support the people's voice!! Bring in the craziest entertainment out there!! Art is everything and everything is art, I want to show that...and put Hawaii Mural Arts on the map!! I want the community to think creatively too...maybe there's a barista who can make cool coffee portraits, a hairdresser/colorist to create tie-dye hair art, or a poetic Frida out there needing to express themselves artistically, I'm hoping some artists across the sea cruise over too! 

At first I'll need to dip my toes in by learning about the 5min spots...so for now just looking for video footage to scroll info across; web address, contact info, ads for fundraising, etc.. See where that leads. I am still contemplating what our first 30min show will be like...I know we will be advertising for seasoned; musician or band to play acoustic, a person to sign language,  local chef, gardener, farmer, and artist to paint mural in background. All during our first HMA "meeting" to elect officers, after that we can start filling slots with all sorts of creations; how we can utilize our professional skills to build "renewable island communities," begin helping people purchase affordable land, and I'd like to build sustainable "mini hales" here & overseas starting with our friends in Jamaica...created in the most beautiful artistic way....also need to announce details for our Dec HI-WALL Exhibition "Mermaids & Murals"...see why we need to have a whole 30min to promote what takes me weeks to do online! I can also save trees by not having to pass out flyers...my goal now is getting info out about the program...and that will lead people to our website....yep once again I win.

Really hope nobody asks me to be in front of camera...I promise I'm not interested in being on TV...just interested in getting arts & education out there more...& hopefully gathering more artists to join up and art party with us. Especially in these times we need uplifting and inspirational atmospheres and however possible we gotta keep the arts thriving! 

I really have no clue how this will be supported by community...but there's no wrong way to present art & music anyway! My plan? Turn on the cameras and utilize this free air time, free space to hold meetings, and to promote Hawaii Mural Arts, it will be the perfect portal.
